Everyone has a calling, some for fashion, some for business, some for art, but whatever their calling the most important thing that they can do is to recognize it and grasp a hold of their opportunities to create a future they can be passionate about. The field of photography is one in which it is highly important for an individual to forge their own path and to create their own unique identity. Photography is an art that is spread across such a wide variety of businesses such as fashion, art, advertising, food, travel, interiors, products, people, and the list goes on. In forging their career path a photographer must discover in which field their path lies; they must discover their true passion.
In today’s world things move so fast; technology is constantly changing and you can never seem to be fully on top of what is happening. For a lot of people these fast paced changes are a huge issue. In the past, technological advancements such as the automobile, television and jet air, led to swift transformations in society then settled down to a manageable pace of change. However, with the development of digital and online technology, society seems to be moving at lightening speed, ever changing and never settling. This can be very unnerving to a number of people who are not accustomed to this technology or consistently involved with it. For these individuals, it may seem like society is moving too quickly for them to catch up. This is where the tech savvy masters of Mobile Genius have taken it upon themselves to provide a solution and a helping hand for these individuals in a time when things just don’t seem to take a break.
Towards the end of 2009 we had a client referred to us by a good friend (thanks J.C.!). Our initial contact via email quickly led me to believe that this was going to be one of those projects that you can really have fun with. This wasn’t necessarily because of the project itself, but rather because of the client and their passion for their trade. Doug Wallace, the charm and brains behind Wallace Media was pure laughs throughout the creative process. He had a clear vision of where he wanted us to go with his site from the very beginning, “I want a floating, rotating cube”! His constant attention to detail made me smile as I realized we had already noted many of the same revisions before he had even requested them.
It gives us great pleasure to announce the partnership of our client, Tehran Bureau, and PBS Frontline, the renowned investigative journalism series in the United States.
derooted Creative Agency has been the agency of record for Tehran Bureau since its launch earlier this year. derooted played a major role in the success of Tehran Bureau, in part through advanced use of social networking sites to promote its coverage and to create a platform to quickly and efficiently disseminate news, video and photos of the demonstrations that erupted after the June 12 election.
