Derooted developed a bold street activation for the launch of the Microsoft Xbox 360 video game, Forzo Motorsports. Our concept was to blur the lines of the virtual and reality – bring the gamer from their virtual race tracks out onto the streets. To create an interactive experience and a viral promotional video, we staged a race between two luxury sports cars. A player 1 and a player 2 LED sign were mounted on an Aston Martin Vantage and a Mercedes SLS AMG. Heads turned and social media chatter spilled as the two cars hit the Toronto streets.
